Rotary Club of Pflugerville Gives Back!!

The Rotary Club of Pflugerville presented First Baptist Church/Backpack Pfriends with a check today for $900 to benefit their wonderful program.

"Did you know that more than 18 million kids across the country receive free or reduced lunch at school? What happens to those same kids over the weekend? Hunger doesn't take a few days off!

BackPack Pfriends provides healthy meals to PfISD elementary children in need over the weekends and school holidays. Every Friday afternoon during the school year students are given a backpack full of nutritious food, including proteins, cereals, milk, fruit and granola bars." PfISD Website
